Lakeside Village

Lakeside Village is located on the banks of Watts Bar Lake on the site of what was once the Lutz Mantel Company. Dover Signature Properties acquired the dilapidated factory building, originally built in 1910, in 2006;  work began immediately to salvage whatever usable materials remained, including magnificent heart pine timbers that would be used for flooring in the Carmichael Inn.

The site where the factory stood was converted from a commercial to a residential zone. Dover elected to build a community of historic-feeling townhomes that, although new, would reflect the original saltbox-style architecture of the Loudon area, down to the homey front porches and picket fences. The result is a modern living experience that is comfortable, beautiful, and richly detailed, offering waterfront access, shops and dining within walking distance, and maintenance-free grounds.
